What you say about Mavericks may well be true, but why not leave 1.0.4 alone as it used to work in Mavericks? After all, the new version is 1.1.1 so there was no need to 'spoil' 1.0.4 for Mavericks users.

Not sure what even changed post 1.0.4 that broke it. You could use that if it was working for you before. Hmmm I didn't relize 1.0.4 worked on Mavericks.
